How To: Adding feed into your blog
If you’re interested in adding updated news headlines into your blog, but you’re not sure how to do it, here is a small tutorial how to add NewsTin headlines directly into most popular blogging services and engines.
Choosing a topic
The first step is to choose appropriate category in our webmasters area. You wouldn’t want your visitors to browse a completely unrelated topic. Take your time - NewsTin has over 400.000 searchable topics available.
After you choose the topic, our tool will show you appropriate RSS feed for the category you selected.
Adding the feed into your Wordpress
Log in to your Dashboard, go to Presentation tab. Click Widgets and select RSS, edit properties and insert the URL you found on NewsTin site. Position your RSS widget and click Save Changes.
Adding the feed into your blog on Blogger
Log into your Blogger account, click Template and the Page Elements tab. On the right side there is “Add a page element” link. A window with options will show up. Find “Feed” option and clik Add to Blog. Insert the NewsTin feed URL into the form and click Continue.
Adding the feed into other content management systems
In content management systems, there usually is a possibility to directly add feeds into your site, however, in some cases you’d have to download a plugin. If your CMS is not capable to integrate feed directly, you can always use Newstin’s fully customizable generator that creates a HTML code for you to integrate into your template.

You can use our generator, choose a category, then select the URL of a feed that shows on the page.
Login to your typepad administration and select Weblogs - Design - Create New. Save the template and apply it to your blog.
Then open Design - Change Content Selection and and paste the URL that was given to you by Newstin generator. You can configure it.
After saving thechanges, view your weblog in web browser. Make View Source Code to view the HTML source of the page.
Copy the feed’s code and go to Weblogs - Design - Manage Your Designs and re-apply your Advanced Template Set. Paste the feed code where you’d like it to display. Then repbulish the blog.
